Spring Bling Alpaca Show 2010

Friday March 19th 
10:00 pm - 7:00 pm Exhibitor check-in, Color Check/Compliance and Registration (call

920-338-0033 if you will arrive later than 7:00 PM)

10:am-4:00 Fleece Check-in.  Fleece judging begins at 4:00 , so be sure to have your fleece checked in before 4:00 PM.

5:00 pm – Sandwiches for exhibitors

9:00 pm – Exhibitors leave (call 920-338-0033 if you will be unable to complete set-up by 9:00 pm)

Saturday March 20st

7:00 am – Doors Open for exhibitors
8:00 am Opening Remarks, Mandatory Exhibitors Meeting with Judge in show ring area for all exhibitors.

8:30 - 8:50 am Quick Showmanship Clinic – all beginners are encouraged to attend this FREE, quick seminar on “How to show your alpaca” by Vicki Trimberger, Mystic Springs Ranch- held in the show ring. Do NOT bring your alpaca, this is just for you.

9:00 am Open to public, free parking

9:00 am Alpaca Halter Show begins.

9:00 am Vendors Exhibits open in lobby.

10:00 am Spin-Off Display opens. Good luck!

10:00 am Free Seminar “Your Alpaca Business Plan” by Mac Johnston

12:00-12:30 pm Lunch on your own, and Free Fun Classes for Kids by Vicki Trimberger, Mystic Springs Ranch

12:30 pm Alpaca Halter Show continues

3:00 pm Free Seminar IRS Hobby Farm/Farm Rules by Michael Kovacs

4:30 pm – Production Classes – Breeders Best, Get of Sire, Produce of Dam, Bred and Owned

6:30 approximately – Alpaca Halter Show ends for the day


Sunday March 21st

8:00 am – Kids Showmanship Classes by Vicki Trimberger, Mystic Springs Ranch

8:30 am - Alpaca Halter Classes resume

9:00 am Open to public, free parking

Tentative: 10:00 am – Free youth class on “How to judge an alpaca” by Wade Gease, for youth under 18

10:00 am Fleece Show opens. Good luck!

12:00-12:30 pm Lunch on your own,

12:00-12:30 pm Youth Alpaca Judging for youth under 18, by Wade Gease, AOBA Certified judge and trainer.

12:30 pm Alpaca Halter Classes resume

1:30 pm Spin-Off Display and Fleece Show end. Owners may pick up items

Approx 3:30 PM  Show closes to public

 

We are asking that you try to vacate the building no later than 6:00 pm Sunday or 1 hour after the show ends.
